put in at 7:45 and went down river a ways. we fished until 3:00 and had a pretty good day. we got some decent fish in the boat and lost some good ones as well, one bigun sight unseen so i'm hoping it was a drum. had some good current all day and fished jig-type stuff for the most part with grubs working well. caught a lot of small fish, this years hatch with a good majority of them being smallmouth. fished below the flood gates toward the end and didn't do as well.
