I end up going camping for one night saturda-sunday. I landed only 12 fishes but 2 of them when about to get into my hand decided didnt want pictures of them. Saturday on river caught 5 brookies and then i decided to go to the lake and fly fish. Fished for 2 hrs on fly rod only few bites but no love V_V later use my secret bait and they were exploding before the sun was gone. Manage 3 bow keepers. Sunday went to a different lake gosh the wind was roaring from one side to another, that is the buitiy of bi polar utah its on way then the other back and forth. I had only a few bites but my dad was using secret bait caught 8 but keep 4. Went back to camp site grab food and off the the river agian the only place it loved fly fishing for today caught 4 more and then off home. Im gonna be going up there Thursday or friday so more fishing at uintain again lol.
I hope it wont be windy again oh it was terrible fly fishing day i had up there on the lakes so far.
As well when i was driving back home in kamas and went to dicks to get some ice cream ^_^. Ashes ashes they were falling looks like there was another fire in utah once again . Where is the rain we need it badly.

Thanks for posting pictures as well as your account of adventure. You will get hooked on the Uintas, careful it's not barbless. Keep us posted on all your adventures.

ya i love fishing in the uinta just hope there will be no wind. Ya the hooks arnt barbless but still they fish hits and they get unhooked cleanly on the river. Ya hook on uinta totally. I might to go af for a day of fly fishing on the river if its not high. Plus it sucks that the fishes arnt really coming in the lilly pads yet. I had only a few bites but nothing good. Lets hope they will be coming soon because those are my fav spots to fly fish around. Watch the tiger trouts take that caddis fly down. good days

Why not just start out with the 'secret bait' instead of proving something else doesn't work?

its because after the years when i got older i had a better fight on fly rod then my secret bait that i have so id rather fly fish then bait fish. I only use bait if its needed but i didnt i rather go on the river catch those dinky brookies and let them go freely than hooking them down the throat. If that makes any scene to u >_<

Sounds like a good time.....I think. Hard to tell from the writing. Anyways why do you put your thumb in the mouth of a 5" trout like it's a 5 lb. Bass?

That sounds like some fun worm adventure. I havent used worms for quite some time. Ya if i get skunked on the lakes i go on the river and fly fish there. Never got skunked on the provo river where i go camping yet and i hope it will never happen. Love that river filled with dinky brooks where i camp but sometime i get lucky to a grayling or a decent size bow.

Some times i hold them by the most instead by the body because sometime i had some go ballistic and jump out of my hand and hit a rock and sometimes they dont get back into swimming mode as fast as if i hold by the mouth and then take a pic and let it go safly.

ya because just this week I had one brook going all crazy in my hand. He was slippery like all other fish can be hit a rock and it took a good 3-5 min for that small guy being revived and swam off happily and safly
