Candi and I got a 11:45-4:00 trip on Monday. We stayed in the creek, and fished<br />docks and blowdowns. We had good action using 1/16 oz jigs with Outlaw Special and <br />Shimmer Shad plastic. All of our fish were caught on 1 dock and about 4 blowdowns. Candi<br />had to stay close to home, so I could not romp the lake like I want. We still had a good day.<br />We finished with 26 keepers, all released.<br /><br /><br /><br /> March 28<br /> I was looking for amonster crappie today. I was in the right areas, just didn&#39;t find the three pounder<br />I seek. I fished brush, brushpiles and docks and found big fish. I caught a limit of crappie,<br />that were holding off to the side of a dock. Got a 15inch&#43;, suspended in 10 feet of water. She weighed<br />2lbs. 3ozs., a pig. Tarp#12. Ran a series of crap stops,real ghosttowns. Feast or famine times right now.<br />Pulled up on a shallow dock where I caught 2 nice ones quick, then, got another tarp. Taarp #13. A<br />huge bellied female. Tried another dock in the area, first cast I get smoked. Tarp#14. There is a boat <br />in the area, with 2 guys really watching me close. 2 casts later I catch Tarp#15. Those guys couldnt tell<br />how iI was doing it. I caught 1 more really black male, a 13&#43;, that took drag like a 3 pounder. Finally, I found <br />some quality fish. Caught a 3lb. 5 oz. smallie that was entertaining till I saw it was not a crappie. Pretty fish!<br />Sent Candi some pics thru the day. I was accused of not taking her to where the big fish when she goes. You <br />have to let me run and gun to find em. She is so mad, I promise she won&#39;t reply to this post.
