The ladders should be good, or the soldier creek dam area. There are plenty of places that are easy to launch, and you can drive fairly close to the water's edge.

Another good place to put in is by the Renegade marina...you do have to pay a $4 fee, but the fishing can be really good back there this time of year. Good luck when you head out.
