Crazy Strawberry Rainbows

We caught a ton of these little rainbows this season right under the ice. They would come through in schools and were a challenge to catch. They kept me laughing throughout the day and filled in the slow times waiting for the cuts to come through. Check out the video

That's a great video...I always wanted to see what those darn rainbows were doing. I could see them going from one jig to another on my sonar and would catch one on occasion. Thanks for sharing.

Do you have video of catching them using a certain jigging technique or bait presentation?

I use an old vcr and just let it run all day, then I use use the dvd recorder and transfer the parts I want to a dvd. It takes a while. I dont have any catching video but the thing that worked the best was when they turn away you give a little jig. after three or for time of that they usually take the jig but you have to be fast or they spit it out.
