i just went to the Forest Service website the other day trying to find an answer to this question. first let me say this was beyond confusing. apparently the pass you buy is broken up by section. i belive UT ID WY and MT and parts of NV were in section F4 (or something along those lines). when i looked at the season pass which was 80 bucks it said it was invalid at places that charged for camping, use of launching ramps, and certain other improvments. i sent an email asking for some clarification, what is a "certain improvment?" i have not recieved an answer. i also asked if i could use that pass at the berry, then up at CC and then up mirror lake, becuase reading the website, since the berry and CC charge for use of the ramp it would be invalid. if i ever get an answer back ill post it on here. by the time i got done reading about it i was fed up and just bought a UT and CO state parks pass(es), seemed alot easier

Are you talking about the America the Beautiful Federal Pass? My wife has an access pass and it is good for all federal properties (NPS, BLM, FS) with discounts for camping. The only one it does not work for that I know of is millcreek canyon because it is county not federal.

It has been that way for a couple of years Troller. I went to buy a pass at American Fork and they told me $45. I was shocked, but then was told it covered Mirror Lake hiway and how perfect is that! Not sure what it cost this year. I keep buying the pass, but end up not getting my money's worth![mad] Gonna try and change that this year.
Strawberry is BLM land. No pass. The fee is the camp sites doing. It is what it s. Have no clue about CC, have only been there a couple of times, and never paid. Is there a fee there? [signature]

Yes the America the Beautiful & Federal Recreation Land Pass is valid for entry at all Federal Lands that charge a fee. Millcreek Canyon is actually National Forest and it should be valid but the county administers part of it and wants to charge you a second time for something you already paid for once. This pass is $80. It doesn't cover camping or boat ramps or sometimes parking run by other companies.
