Rivendell waist wader test.

I finally won a pair of Rivendell waist waders on Ebay at a fair price. I think most, if not all of their business is done on Ebay so I have no idea if there is any guarentee at all.
For this test I used an Outcast Fish Cat#4 with mods. There is a 3 pole holder and Eagle 320C powered by a 7 amp gel cell. The gear pockets have a 2 big jig boxes and normal panfish gear. I took two rods.
The reason for this overinformation influx is because this stuff all has weight.
I weigh in at a discouraging 220 lbs and the size XL waist waders had a snug, but not overly tight fit on my size 11 4E wide foot.
The waders come up to the belly button without being tight in the crotch.
I fished for 6 or 7 hrs., caught bluegill and red ear all day and even kept a nice mess for the table.
The most important thing was that I was DRY.lol
As for a gurantee, I have delt with companies that have the best guarentee out there, but unfortunately I had to use it a lot. These waders sell for $40.00 off the shelf, and if they hold up for the long run, I'll be a happy customer.

You are correct there Tube Dude. Two shore visits for used coffee disposal was no problem at all.
I forgot to mention that they came with a nice wide adjustable snap buckle belt that stays in place in the wide belt loops. I seem to recall owning a pair of much more expensive chest waders that didn't even come with a belt, and when I purchased one there was a only single belt loop in the back center to keep it in place. (grrrr)
I would doubt that I will ever win annother pair for $16.50 + $11.00 shipping after this truthfull report. lol

Mine do have the zipper, but I don't think I have ever used it.
I did buy the Mediums thinking that is what I need for inseam, but later read that the smalls would have been just fine.
The only thing I might add to mine is an elastic belt.
As I said, these waders are big and I have to cinch them up at the waist.
So, when I take them off, the clips slide through the belt loops. I have to re-thread them every use.
