Fish Lake

Going to take the boat and family to Fish Lake the last week this month, any pointers as to best areas to fish. Thanks

I have fished Fish Lake since I was a kid through the ice and a few times early in the summer. Our best luck for rainbows and splake was pulling pop gear and worms with the boat in about 30 feet of water off the weedline and 4-5 colors of lead line out. You can also look at the other post from this last weekend too. You can jig for bows and splake all along the weedline but the south end seemed to produce with light colored jigs and a piece of chub, sucker or perch meat attached. Maybe someone will give you some info on macks as well.

I know i'm not an authority on fishlake, but i've caught some nice fish there. I like to troll minnow plugs and also i like casting tube jigs for the better fish. All of my big fish have come in twos, but i haven't found one spot that consistently produces so i don't think the area is that important.
