...hope you have a fun trip .. cant wait to hear what you have to report once all the dust has settled..
... we have the boat and fishing show coming up Easter weekend.. so I not sure if I will be going this year.. if I do go.. I know now to ignore the boats and trucks etc .. and go to the buildings with all the vendor stalls.. if I had thought about it last year and done that I would of seen a lot more of the good stuff that was being offered..
..btw.. does anyone.. like the news etc.. come take pictures of these events??? if so I think it would be great to see pics of the FG in action at her vise... what does everyone else think???

It was a blast! So many people stopped to talk. Of course I had a 32 out for them to KINDA see. More people were interested in the Vosseler Vise.
I stopped by BS FLIES booth and talked to Lynn and the Boys. Even sold a couple of Henry's Lake Books for him (easiest sell I have ever made cause this book is the BOMB) Tied a little more then the casting competition took place and after getting hit wit leader a couple of times (These guys can throw a fly line) I took a walk and ended up at Denny Rickards Booth. We were talking away and with out thinking about it, I sold one of his Stillwater Books (one I got for Christmas and it is a fantastic book for our area), some of his Intermediate line, and three flies. He was just smiling while we were talking. He had a new pattern that I think is going to do some major damage on the waters. He gave me one to tear apart and copy. I will post pictures of it soon.
Met up with Nick and Steff Jones (The Vosseler Rep and Rainey Flies) cool couple but no cookies[:/] Steff always makes the best Chocolate Chip Cookies.
The day went fast, and allot for me, but I will say the show has turned to Trips and Guide service more than anything. The Garlic Booth and the Roasted Nuts Booth were still there however WAHOO!
Good displays and fun for kids, but not at all like the good ol days.

... sounds like you had a great time at the show.. you got to show off your stuff.. and your vise.. helped a few friends sell their stuf.. had some garlic and roasted nuts.. and got a new pattern that you can show off to us soon..
.. Id say life doesnt get any better than that.. :-)
