OK, i'm lost now. When I hear "drum," i'm thinking of Spot Tail Bass or Black drum, like what you catch inshore in saltwater. Is there a freshwater drum?

[black]There are a couple of fish refered to as "DRUM".[/black]
[black][/black]
[black]Freshwater Drum(Aplodinotus grunniens) [aka: Sheepshead, croakers] Has the widest natural range of all North American sportfish.[/black]
[black][/black]
[black]Red Drum (Sciaenops ocellatus) [aka: Redfish, Red Bass, Channel Bass, Puppy Drum] These are the ones you are probably more familiar with(if you have caught Drum in rivers that empty into salt water). They are Salt water/brackish/fresh water denizens. They have been stocked in some Fresh water reservoirs but are managed as a non-reproducing fish in those places.[/black]
