I am impressed . I be lucky to hook a 6# bass but a 24# and 5 of them in one day ? Must be a glizt in this thread . I think I saw you and your boat one morning going to work . Do you travel down 5400 south on the west side ? I seen a Mojo sticker on the boat .

Thats his boat. Smile It's a driving mojo ad. He did mean total weight. Man that would have been a killer weigh in in a tournament.

Oh Ok , I guess I'm screwed up . These 12 to 14 hour days at work are having affect on me . I wish I could put that time on the water instead of work . Nice day on the water for Bassrods .

Don't feel too bad. I had the same impression, the word "five" didn't register with right away, so I thought, holy cow that's a state record by a mile. I reread the post and got it the second time. Still, 40 fish with some good weights on the fish is still a dang good day on Lake X. Thanks for the report, bassrods.

Nearly a 5lb average or 5 fish over 20in. Perhaps your scale is out of adjustment.

It could have been me I go up 54 to get to 215. What I tryed to say was that my 5 biggest bass was 24.1 (total weight)

No my scale are right on, I have 4 sets of them.(maybe a little over kill) but one is certified but it only brakes down in 1/4 lbs not oz.

That's an incredible 5 fish weight. I just spent 2 days on Jordanelle and had moderate success-nothing bigger than 2 pounds. If you ever need a fishing partner let me know. I have a bass boat and would love to learn how to have your kind of success.

Mr. Sackett ... you need to get a digital camera. I have heard a lot of your fishing stories from lake X ... No photos. I know I would like to see these monsters first hand! Take some photos man!

Let's see some pics of those monsters your catching! So everyone doesn't have to call Bull on your reports! When the reports are that good you may wan't to show some pics. It is much easier to take a photo, than to measure every fish you catch. And maybe a little less handling of the fish that is about to be released!

I do have a digital camera...and you can see some of my photo's over on www.outdoorsgonewild.com.

You see while I can catch fish and take pictures...usually not of myself while trying to hold up a fish...I am not a computer wiz. On my last trip I tried to do just that...putting the camera on timer and managed to either cut off my head, cut off the fish or blurr the photo altogether.

I have no clue...how to post a picture on the website...so CBR has been generous enough to post what I scan and email. That is the total of my computer skills. As my wife says I'm pretty cyberdumb.
And I can't ask her to post them, cause she's a writer not a computer wiz either. We both just manage to get by...[Smile]

When you talk ram...I think big horn sheep. When you talk gigs...I think of a outdoor show for demonstrations. Re boot is what I do when I need my shoes repaired. When you talk hard drive...hee hee hee...it's either XXX rated or a really long trip to the next fishing hole. Floppy doesn't need me to explain it...and laptop...that conjours up music and a pretty girl ... the rest is up to you.

tight lines...ps...just got back from a 3 day trip and hard drive...to another favorite fishing hole...

I carry a tape measure in my pocket...and I have scales on the dash of my boat...so it's easier for me when I'm alone to tape em and weigh em and log em in my journal, than to try to set up a camera with the timer that would take twice as long stressing the fish...which I don't like to do. Plus if you read my last post....you'll see what happens when I try to do a self portrait with fish. I'd love to be able to snap the lunkers...and I have had photo's posted in the past...they are in the photo gallery at www.outdoorsgonewild.com.

I don't make up fish stories...I don't have to. If someone doesn't want to believe me...that's up to them and I don't think a picture would change their mine. I see pictures of fish crammed down the lens of a camera to make them look bigger all the time, but if the fisherman is proud of that fish...then that's great. [Smile]

I fish. That's what I do...I enjoy it. I catch big fish at times...and I am on the water 4-5 days each week. [cool]

I have caught a lot of big fish on maniac's lures...until I ran out of them. Maniac makes a great sinko and drop shot worm...this is not an advertisement...just a fact. I don't need to make that up either. [laugh]
