Sport King 3/4 day fishing report 4/17/05

We headed out on the Sport King 3/4 day fishing boat out of LA Harbor Sportfishing. We left promptly at 7:00am and headed for the CAT.

We started off near Farnsworth bank. The water temp was now 60 degrees.

On the boat were caught the following species: Halibut (legal), several Calicos, numerous Sand Bass, Sheepsheads, Lings (shorts), treefish, barberpoles, greenbacks, starries, reds, bocaccios and 1 45# YT released just before getting to the boat.[]

We returned to the dock around 6:45pm. The boat will be drydocked for awhile for some maintenance.

We got home around 8pm after a nice long 51hr fishing extravaganza. Check the previous reports starting from the Ventura Pier fishing report and follow along for details.[cool]

I gotta catch my breath following your adventures. You're a strong rod Charlie Brown! Hope your/BFT's guest was happy with their fishing potporrii. And who better to do it with than you!

I'll be be out tomorrow to CAT and will do Friday too. Will fish SD Monday and Tuesday after Day-at-the-Docks Sunday.

Well thanks for the flowers. ha ha.

My guest left by 10:00pm on Friday. Only my son could hold my side like that for that period of time. It was almost like when we would spend our long weekends at the Cat. The only difference is that we got the Cat in as well as the Channel Islands.
