Ingredients [ul] [li]5 large Potatoes

[li]3 stalks Celery
[li]1 Green Pepper
[/li][/ul] Directions Dice veggies and add to 2 cups Water, 2 Beef Bouillon Cubes, 2 Tablespoons Butter, and Salt and Pepper. Bring to a boil then simmer at least 2 hours. About 30 minutes before serving add paste:
1/2 cup Water (about)
3 Tablespoons Flour
2 pounds diced Permit
2 Tablespoons Butter
Simmer 30 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in: 1/2 cup Whipping Cream (optional, but gives rich flavor)
