Echo - Friday the 19th
#1
Buddy & I fished from 7-noon.  Cloudy & cool, with a consistent ripple.   Lots of marks & lots of surface carp, but few fish boated.  Good bass day for my buddy & his spinnerbait that first 90 minutes, jacking several 14's, a couple of 15's and an 18+.  All shallow.  White single-tail grub also scored.  We got two nice perch, but for the most part they ghosted us.  Water level dropped a bunch from over a week ago, but still at 65.  Gonna hit Jordanelle this Sunday.

Wow, an 18" bass that's impressive, haven't heard of any that big being caught at Echo, good job. Were the perch caught on plastics or were you tipping with bait?

Perch were caught on plastics.  The smallies were pretty good, so we stuck with larger bass plastics, 4" single-tail grubs.
We hit a few spots where we or others yanked perch a week before, but they vamoosed.  Drop-shotted shad-shapes (Yamamoto) seem to be
a good perch plastic.
