Another good cat day
#1
ot meanin" to over-post but... had another great day this morning. Perfect weather with the overcast sky and dead calm water. Caught nine cats and the biggest three were better than I did last Tuesday. Top three went 31, 31.5, and 32.5. The biggest one was a real bruiser, especially ugly with a broken lower jaw. Tried to pick him up with a gripper but no jaw to grip.

Tried again for some wb but no luck. Frozen seem to do the job. Always amazed at how strong those big cats are. A singing drag is always fun to hear. Caught fewer fish today but the fish were bigger so no complaints. No other boats out today, maybe a few more fishers on Saturday. With the bad water and school having started the solitude is welcome. Good times ahead.

Good going Lynn! Glad you are getting out.  Vi and I are planning to go out in the morning. Hope those cats are hungry.

Its always a good day fishing, sometimes the catching could be better, but always a good day.

Im surprised you guys dont catch more eyes bottom bouncing like you do, its almost sept so those eyes will start to move up in for WB as soom as the water start to cool, looks like we will finally get out of the 90+ deg next week, still miss that lake, but trying to survive on all these lake out here. plan on coming out in march for sure.
