Fishing just ok, but other action fairly wild...late start for us, D.R. trolling rods in water 0800...usually we'd have 2 planer sets out right away also, but too much wind and near whitecap surface forced just 1 pole each..still ok for me..by 0930 I'd pulled in 6 decent bows with a couple releasers..I finally convinced my buddy that green (chartrues) was the color of choice, and when he switched to green 'Terry's Tomahawk' he had some luck..I'd been using green 'Terry's Turbo' which did the trick for me, and then after 0930 I just experimented with others...about 0930 to 1130, when we quit, we were constantly doing battle with the trash boats churning up the water and making waves high enough for surfers...even some idiot bass boaters doing 40 mph to their next shore line hot spot...couldn't our State Parks have even/odd days for wake or wakeless boaters??I think it's the same in all our Utah waters...I guess for now we just need to be fishing by 0600, and expect the trash boats to take over by 0930 or 1000...anyhow, for the wild conditions this day, we still did ok...Guluk..

, but unless you get on a lake early, what you saw is just normal on most days during the Summer, even during the week, and the weekends are even worse. It would be nice if they did what you were suggesting but the reality is, that's not likely to happen, in my opinion that is a direct result of the taxes those folks pay on those 100k to 250k boats.
