Rockport re-set
#1
Solo-ed in my buddy's boat yesterday morning, 6-10:30.  Crisp 36-deg air, and water going over the spillway.  Up 2' from last Sunday.
Intended on perch fishing only, and yet couldn't keep the bass off my little offerings right off the bat heading south from the ramp.
Got my fill of perch after a few hours, so I thought I'd head over to the highway spots where we boat-loaded the smallies last Sunday.
Nope, not a one to be found, or caught.  And I even threaded on some worms.  Perch got finicky there, too, wanting only the meat.
Water at 65 when I left.  Planning to hit Jordy this Sunday.  Haven't been there in a month.

Thanks for the report! You must have gotten a bunch of perch to "get your fill" in a couple of hours. Sounds like fun to me.

Had to sift thru a bunch to keep 9s and 10s.  Usually the bigger ones will hit the bass stuff, but not yesterday.  Wanted only meat.

I figure RP is the place right now although we did tear it up at Pineview. I need to get that post out
Remember: keep the lid on the worms, share your jerky, and stop by to say hi to Cookie and the Cowboy-Pirate crew
