Smallies, that is. I caught a double on 5" SMB at Willard today, and well away from the dike. Pretty weird.
It was slow for much of the day, after an early bite. I got on the water at 9:40 today, motored toward Freeway Bay and put lines in at 9:46. Well, one line. As I was putting the second line in the first line got bit. A small, foul-hooked wiper. Figures. It slowed from there, a small 'eye here and there. Things picked up out west, though. I ended the day catching 13 walleye, all but 3 released. Most in the 15" range. Kept a 16", a 19.5" and a 20.5". Also caught a catfish and 2-3 wipers.
Shane, I created a waypoint using your coordinates, put deep diving plugs on both rods, and made three passes over your mark with the plugs bumping bottom. No luck.
Water temp was ~75F, Flicker Minnow back ~80' was best, 2.5-3MPH. Turned on the fish macerator at the North Marina after cleaning my fish, only to find it clogged. Is it really so hard to turn it on before cramming fish down it?
Single main, no kicker.

I watched a guy at the south Marina clean his fish ,put them in bags and then just leave everything on the table even after I asked him to at least put in the trash . Some people just don't care.

Those are the people who grew up leaving their clothes, towels, and toys just laying where they dropped them. Because "somebody" will always clean up after them, and such work is beneath them.

I was there Thurs and spent a little shy of two hours crawling over the area with a big double trebled Rattle Trap and a 3oz bb’er/double hook harness on other side of boat, both dredging the bottom, and came up with nothing.
Fishing ain’t cheap!!
