Panguitch Lake

Hey guys, Does anyone know if Panguitch Lake is free of ice? What is the access like? Also any information on tactics used there would be helpful. Can it be shore fished or do you need a boat? I am rarely that far south but would like to consider a trip there if that is possible in the next week or so.

It's ice free and filling rapidly. The water is murky with all the run off, but fishing was really good as the ice was coming off. Still a lot of snow around so run off will continue for at least a few more weeks. The lake will reach maximum capacity for the first time in a while.
