Hit Lincoln beach today and it was slow.. We got 4 cats and 1 carp.. but the carp stole the day. Had to be 15 plus pounds got out of the net 3 times and broke the line the third time. Biggest cat was 22 inches. It happens!,,,

Those carp can be fun... on a line or an arrow. I haven't been out yet this week on wife's orders. New carpet installed and she wanted me here for?? Anyway glad you got out and escaped the skunk. I rode out to Lincoln this evening and arrowed a couple of carp for fresh bait tomorrow. Now if the weather and the cats will just cooperate...
The fields are flooded almost two miles south of Lincoln. The creek has disappeared and the water looks like it might break over the road when the run off gets serious. The field where we shot carp last week in 1 foot of water is now 3 feet deep. Serious problems coming??

Lynn, if you get any extra carp I would be happy to take them off your hands. MrsJ and I are planning on going out tomorrow; if I see you I'll give you a haller.

Thats OK. I still have some carp for a couple more trips. I thought if you and the boys are getting into them pretty good and have what you need, I could replenish mine. With two of us fishing now the bait gets used up faster.
We didn't have a banner day but violet topped her biggest fish. 28.5". If she keeps that up I'm going to see how far she can swim. It is fun to watch her get excited. She couldn't be more happy.
