Fished Sulphur Creek day after Christmas, got a late start and was on the ice probably about 11:30am. Ice was around 5-6" inches at the time, with the cold weather we've been getting since then I'm sure it is a lot thicker now. Water level of the reservoir is down but the fishing is still good. I had 4 kids with me so we only stayed for a few hours but had a steady bite the entire time. All fish caught were bows. Haven't hit my honey holes on the water yet but the fish are definitely there. I expect it to be a great fishing winter for Sulphur. Just a reminder also that the Sulphur Ice fishing derby is on February 2nd. The derby has been getting bigger every year and expect this one to be no different with the cash prizes. I've attached the derby information so pass it along to anyone else that is interested. The roads getting to the reservoir are good. It's actually a paved highway all the way there. You could drive there in a car, so yes the mini van will have no problems. It's off of Highway 150 which is the Mirror Lake Highway, but you'll have to come in from the Evanston side during the winter as it's not plowed very far past the UT state line in the winter.

I still planning on attending the event, my wife wasn't sure if she wanted to go so I'm trying to talk my buddy into it. I will probably bring one of my ATV's, just need to know where I can get the sticker I need to run it in WY. We are hoping to hunt antelope in WY. this fall so I will need to get a sticker for it. If you know where I can get a sticker for the ATV let me know, thanks.

Hope you'll be able to make it. I usually get both my Wyoming and Utah stickers at Maverik here in Evanston. I'm guessing you should be able to get your stickers wherever you buy your UT ones down there. If you end up having to wait til you get here, just stop at the Maverik gas station and grab it there. I think the other places in town that sell them are RIP's gas station and Sportsworld. See ya soon
