weber river

Has anyone heard if there has been any progress on access to the Weber river between the mouth of the canyon and Riverdale? I used to fish this section until it was fenced off ? Never could understand the reason for fencing it off but thats another subject.

it is fenced off but the highway side is public land. you can access it by parking in the hotel parking lot near the mouth of the canyon and walking.... alot.... or from the south weber exit parking near the bridge, but i wouldent reccomend that. the highway side is the only public side. also, there is a walk path from riverdale almost all the way up to adams parkway thats free and accessable from behinde the toyota dealership in riverdale.
