Is it worth having, or is there a better alternative? I've read both good and not so good reports. Looking for something small but actually works consistantly.
Thanks!

I can not speak from experience, but I can say, since Humminbird bought them out from Bottom Line they are so much better. They really have a large cone area too. The reports I have heard on the 140 that are very favorable. [signature]

They are a very good investment. Great item for tubes if you don't want to do alot of biulding to modify a regular fish finder to your tube as others have done here. I used an old fishing buddy III for years and passed it on to my son. Still works great! Got a Fishing buddy 110 for my wife last year and she likes how it works on her fish cat 4. I have used the Fishing Buddy 120 for 2 years and alo use it when ice fishing to check depth and I like it real well and have not had any issues with it. It runs on 6 AA batteries and they seem to last a long time. [signature]

Thanks for the opinions. I'll have to give them more consideration than I have. [signature]

My son has one. We first pit it on his float tube and then on his pontoon. I think for depth and temp they are as good as anything else. For actually showing fish I think it is way better than a 300 cuda. Ron [signature]

I want to get one sometime. I have a 300 cuda now and it's completely worthless. Jason [signature]
