Hey guys hope you all had a safe fourth of July. I went out to sweet arrow lake in pine grove and caught my first crappie I hear from locals they are plentiful in that lake. I was using fathead minnows when I pulled one in I was so stoked cause I've caught many fish and never a crappie before so if anybody wants to do any crappie fishing that is a good place you don't even necessarily need a boat to catch them there you can nail em all day off the shore

You didn't mention size on the crappie. Can you give us your avg. size crappie lenth ?I don't think you can really haul them in all day with size ! can you? I'm thinking lake on the rebuild now since its only a few years since the drain down. What size are common right now? I would be intrested in knowing. Maybe the lake has now recoverd ! Many are waiting that day. The lake is due for a return of size in numbers of all the resent stockings since 2006.
