Utah Lake...still good 6/4

Well, I haven't posted much lately, since I would just be repeating what everyone else fishing UL is saying. The white bass have been very willing to play. I have had days where I have caught easily over 150 by myself, to Memorial Day with my brother who doesn't fish much, scoring exactly 80 between the two of us in 2 1/2 hours. So, I took a couple guys I work with out after work today to get on the action. They did catch fish, but either they are starting to slow down, or they weren't so eager to bite today. Anyways, 1 guy caught 7 white bass, 1 sunfish, 1 bluegill,and 1 channel cat. The other guy managed 4 white bass (couldn't keep them hooked). Myself,much slower than any other day so far. I ended up with 25 white bass and dinner...... 22"[]. We were on the water for just ver 2 hours.

I think the colder weather and clouds could have shut them off a bit. I'm going to give it a try this Sunday - hopefully they'll be back on.

I would rather be in your shoes instead of catching a bunch of dink white bass, I bet that walleye was more than welcomed to be on the dinner menu. Nice job on the eye and the bass.

I was there on Thursday, and was faster than that, but nothing like 100 fish day...

but, most of the females I filleted had eggs and the males were just barely milty, so the spawn hasn't ended yet...

You are right, the weather mess up has them spawning longer...good for us!

Well hopefully they will wind down soon. They are fun to catch for a while. But, they usually snatch my jigs up before Mr. Eye can get to it. Anyways good luck to all... and anyone with kids, I would suggest making a trip out there soon. The action is ridiculous at times. Pretty fun if you are looking for quantity of bites/catches.

True that!! Those whities snag it up before cats or anthing else can even bite, but I will not complain too much...I love the white bass and they are awesoem to catch!!

Wow nice walleye I havent hooked into one yet this year but the I still have plenty of time to get one this summer.

Picked up this little baby last night at Utah, Kitty's are biting good. Lost a nicer one then this about 30 minutes before I caught this one.
