Sorry to hear about the fishing, but It sounds like you had a nice day out on the water. We has the same luck on Sat. I think the water is still just too cold. It will be nive when everything starts sup big time....mud cats as well....to me a fish is a fish....and I want to catch em. I think 1-2 weeks of good weather will set er off...I dont know if this week counts tho, looks bad.

White bass are starting to spawn. I went down to Lincoln beach to fish catfish on Tuesday. Forgot my bait!
Fished for Walleye for an hour and caught eight or ten White bass. Could have caught more, wanted a channel cat.Moved in close to shore and cut up a bass for bait. Fished about an hour for catfish and Bluegill with no luck. Moved out to a point in 11.5 feet of water and the fish finder went nuts. Most marks were close to bottom, so I threw plastics for a while. No bites. Put out a catfish rig and after about ten minutes got bit. Reeled in a ten pound cat. Released it and the wind started shifting around. I know Utah Lake fairly well and she was acting like something nasty was about to happen. Headed in to the ramp. Not a bad couple hours of fishing.
