Puddingstone San Dimas any good
#1
Hello all.

I'm anxious to go out fishing and I cant wait anymore. Has anyone fished Puddingstone lake in San Dimas in So. Cal.? Does anyone know what they charge for Floaters (like us)?

Any Hott spots to hit on the floater? Any advise?

I think they just started charging a parking fee for weekdays (none in the winter) so it's the same weekend or weekday ($10). They then charge you $7 to launch a tube and you can only launch from sailboat cove.

Jim Matthew's fishing report last week states :
Puddingstone: DFG trout plants last week and three weeks ago. Good action on largemouth bass on plastics with more and more fish showing in shallower water. A few redear are also showing again. Slow other species. Information: 909-599-8411.

I've only floated around it once for a couple hours with no success so I can't offer much advice.

I fished Paddingstone about five or six times. Some days
are better then others.
I think the max. for me was like a 15 fish (LMB and bluegill) in one day.
Most of the time Im the only guy in a float tube (weekday).

Note: NEVER fish that lake on full moon.
Look at the picture-that is a very good spot to fish but I
will not say anymore [Wink]

Hope this helps.

Very Helpful, Thanks

I was there again today from 6a-10 and all I caught was a tiny rainbow trout on a roaster tail. I decided to go home b/c my stomach started percolating.

I think I need to invest in a fish finder. This year.
