Looks like birds are a problem with the musky at the Lee Kay hatcheries. The Tribune says they need help installing nets over the water to stop the birds from eating the fish. It's tomorrow.

They had planned on doing the netting, but red tape and money delayed it.

In the past, they have used electrically charged wires on the raceways at the hatchery's so that when the birdy would stand on the wire, then dip his/her beak, ZAPPO !!
Then ponds are to big for such a system, so They are having to put nets up. Like it was said, red tape and money held it up.

The pond with the musky and forage fish were covered the day the fish hit the water "temporarily". It is now time to do the job correctly. I need 12 individuals who aren't afraid of some hard work. By the end of the day tomorrow, I would very much like to have the cover, up and operational. Please don't show up. Call me at 801-538-4774 by end of day today if you are interested.
Thanks ahead of time!

I can't tell you how much I appreciate your interest. However it hurts my back just thinking about this job so you might want to pass. Just your interest makes my day though!!
