First Bass of the Year

I finally did it. I caught my first bass of the year. I was using this tiny little crankbait the size of my thumb, don't even know what brand or anything it is. The fish weighed only 6oz., but I was happy to finally catch one.

I'm really not doing it for the contest...Yeah I'm going to enter...but I'm finally happy to start out with the intentions of catching some bass, and doing it. I had that rapala lure on, and when i got close to a chair that has been blown in the water, I saw a strike...that was a good sign. I found that lure to be too big, that's why i switched to the smaller one.
You guys have no idea how happy I was to land a 6oz. bass. Hahahaha [signature] |
