Hey does anyone know of a good salmon fishing spot in Idaho? Thanks

The Salmon River and Steelhead Rivers are good, but I am not sure on opening/closing dates and limits/baits/restrictions now.

I will tell you an excellent spot. You can catch huge Chinook at Lake Pend Oreille up in the north. These are mostly land-locked salmon but still grow huge. You can haul your boat up there, take a vacation and troll plugs and kwikfish for them. You can catsh some over 40 pounds.

You can also pull mooching rigs and plastic squids. You would have a chance to catch big bows there too. Maybe 20-30 pounds. You should go there sometime.

The steelhead season is closed as of April 31 with the exception of the upper salmon or little salmon(I think that's close to the rivers name, better check their proc for sure) which runs through May 15.
