Bear Creek Park

We did a little exploring today as a family. WE went to se red Rocks and Bear Creek Park. Of course my rod mysteriously got in the car and when we got to the lake I did a little fishing. My kids caught two rainbows on powerbait next to the boat ramp.

This morning a listened to 950 am outdoors show. Good info and they were really talking about Spinney Res? Ice out is in process and the res. opens Wednesday. I will try and hit it on Thursday. I use to fish Strawberry in Utah after ice out and it was fantastic.

Yes, you can put a boat on. I think it's restricted to 10HP or less. There were boats out there a couple of weeks ago.

Don is right. I saw 10 boats launch while I was there all with small motors. The fishing was spotty for most that I talked to yesterday.

Do you know if they have any good size trout in bear creek?, I have fished there a couple of times, but caught small fish.
