something is allways forgotten on every adventure, this day was no different than any other, Today was the pratice casting plugs. looking for some way to get the pitch casting lesson going we used a BigFishTackle Hook Safe.

In the photos below you will see our youths learning how to pitch cast to land target lawn fish. As you can see the hook safe was not designed for this perpous but adiquatly did the job with style and grace.
Along with the saving the day thingy, The hook safe did it's traditional job of protecting kids from thier hooks and protecting their new fishing lures from being damaged while being carryed though the days event.
We had over 200 kids at this years 4-H discovery day event and the fishing clinic I ran received a little over half of the attendees of the day. new members will undoubtedly come from this event, parrents were encurraged to visit our site with any fishing questions they may have that I did not have the time to answer.
every one loved their hook safe and many asked where could they pick up more, every one was happy to talk fishing, Met a few naturals, and a few old pro's. a couple 8 year olds came by to show me a few walleye lure tying tips.[
