I am wanting to head up the the porcupine. Has anybody checked the ice or fishing the lake lately?

To reply to my own message. I travelled up to porc this morning. Fished for about three hours and had three fish. All browns 15" range. Edges were still pretty firm and ice was still 8 inches. quite a few guys out fishing

I talked to a couple of guys that caught a couple of kokes. The school was moving pretty fast and i don't think they were fishing in the right spot. I think that most of the people were fishing for the trout.

Thanks for the report up at the pig, sounds like it has really slowed down up there. I haven't been up in a month, but it sounds like I haven't missed much.
