[green]Got my new "the Fly Shop 2007 catalog" yesterday and was thumbing thru it. Some of their stuff is a little pricie to me, but they do have the Fish Cat 4 for $145.
What really cracked me up was on page 65. What is wrong with this picture?

[black]I am assuming it is a rod and line, but the placement of it does look a little snotty[laugh][/black]

I think he was tying on his fly, wetting the knot to cinch it, when he started laughing so hard the line came out his nose [shocked]

Man you guys (and girls)! I looked and looked and only after I figured out what you were saying did I "see" what you saw. It just looked like an ordinary picture of a kid tying on his fly with his rod leaning up against his right side.

BTW, FG, The Fly Shop was my "home" shop for many years when I lived in Redding California. They were always very "pricey."

That's pretty gross FG. Usually it would be someone in my family to come out with a pic like that.

Are we related somehow?? Ha Ha.

I first noticed the rod and line. Then I noticed the placement of it in the background and tied it to the foreground pic. That was cool.[cool]

[black]I can get you an Echo. To tell you a little about it, it is 4 foot long pontoons with 12" diameter. There are [erma bladders which means self sealing. They are a harder toon (similar to rubbermaid garbage cans) so they will not deflate completely. They have a nice thick PVC cover, small metal frame with plastic padded seat that is adjustable (can tilt is back for comfort) and we have added a cargo shelf to the back. Two very large pockets on each side.[/black]
[black]As far as floating rivers, most rivers have an eight foot length or longer stipulation.[/black]
[black]North Fork are expensive, but I wouldn't trust anything less on a river.[/black]
[black]By the way, if you could find longer toons in the future, they could be adapted to the Echo.[/black]
[black]PM me if intersested.[/black]
