my buddy and myself hit soldier creek side of the berry this morning at day break. using black maribou jigs, i caught 2 cutts and one big fat bow. my buddy caught 3 more cutts with pb.
wind came up at 10:30 big time, so we called it a day. alot of people fishing when we left. [signature]

As of last Thursday, there was still a far amount of ice, but heard on another forum the the Strawberry marina is open.
New info, the cooler evenings are slowing down the ice-off. Might be 2 to 3 weeks maybe less after this weekend. Going to head up that way again, will report. [signature]

there was a little bit of ice south of the ladders piled up against the bank. other than that it's wide open.
