STA-BIL in the summer

Now that we are useing ethenal in the summer blend of gas it's adviseable to use Sta-bil when filling up in the summer. This will protect your rubber gas lines. So not only has the gas gone up, we have to add our own additive. []

your right gregg,i us sta-bil yearround,the new gas only has a shelf life of about 2 weeks,mixed gas is about a week,after that it becomes stale.

Two week shelf life? That isn't worth a crap. I'm glad I read this post. LOL I filled my boat up not too long ago before the gas prices went up. I guess I better throw some of that stuff in the tank eh?

Does wally world have that stuff? What kinda price does it have on it?

WE get it from auto parts stores up here. It's only a few bucks to buy. Ethenal will also wreck your fuel pump as well.
