I have some friends that camped there for a few days after Memorial Day.  They were fishing from pontoons using fly tackle and did very well for all species except carp.  
They said they had a hard time keeping the perch off but they caught some 15" - 16" smallmouth, walleye from 13" - 20", one 20" brown, one 12" crappie, and a good number of the nice rainbows.

You should have great fishing for most species.

What are you wanting to target, troll cranks from the power lines to the inlet, 15 ft, 2,2 mph, you should find plenty to keep you busy.
