Yep, always use enough of a crawler to just cover the hook.

Yea, if you give them to much crawler they will just take off the back end. How deep was the water you were fishing in?

15-60, when trolling only fishing the top 10', 15'-60' when jigging, vertical jigging has been more productive lately.
