Made another trip up to Idaho, tried the cj strike dam area for once, about 80 smallmouth 30 crappie 30 bluegill and 5 sturgeon later I found my new favorite place!! Biggest was 7foot 6, the pic is a 10' xtraheavy rod! Cant wait to get back!! Caught all the bass trout perch on a 2.5" cutter bug! Man I love those things! Sturgeon was on baby crappie

Congratulations. Nice size sturgeon. Now that you have one like that , you are addicted to a disease that has no cure, but you can treat the symptoms.

Congrats on a fine outing. Did you catch the smallmouth, crappie and bluegill while you had another rod soaking for sturgeon?

A few bass but for the most part they were caught while not sturgeon fishing
