What is the price increase? I was up there today and the board said $8, which, if I recall, is the same it was last year. Did I miss something?

Fee was $8 on Friday as well. I did not notice the board, but that is what was charged by the on- duty attendant

the board was up and said 8 buck with no one there to collect , i wonder if there was some confusion with some of the other guys that said the price was 16 bucks .
my grand kids and i had a great day we only boated 3 kokes but we did get a late start . we did get a nice bow and a dozen cutts so not a bad day , weather was great also.
a caution to anyone boating the narrows there is more wood in the water than i have ever seen watching as close as i could i still picked up a branch on my out drive.
also i hooked the biggest thing i have ever been able to pull into the boat a 20 foot pine tree .! almost a day spoiler but we got it off . but we saw dozens more of these hazards .
we stopped t whiskey springs needless to say it was completely flooded like everything else up high was .

Yes, I noticed a ton of run-off wood floating all around the Soldier Creek side. Several short 2x6 boards, too.
