Those have the potential to work great. I especially like the idea of not having to release them from the line when fighting a fish and also that (assuming they work as described) don't dig into the water. The modification also makes sense.

Agree, a good friend has ordered these and I'm awaiting the outcome of his thoughts and opinion before I buy a set. One thing we discussed was doing the release mod. The video for the release showed all releases were mounted on the same side as we were thinking of mounting a set on opposite side. That will ensure releases will be topside of when deployed as a dedicated planer to the side its set for.
