White Bass

Fished for white bass on 5/11/2019. Tried both Battle Creek and Mill Race.

Caught 4 at Battle Creek but fishing was slow.

Had more success at Mill Race. Caught 18 in about 1.5 hours.

There were plenty of others fishing closer to where you park. But walking down a short distance it cleared up. When I arrived around 9:00 AM there were maybe 10 - 13 cars. Most left before 10:30 AM though.

Those of you that fish the Mill Race, do you ever worry about having your vehicle brokern into down there. I have avoided it for the past several years because I had my vehicle broken into when fishing down there several years ago. Just not interested in dealing with that kind of crap when fishing. I used to launch my toon there, but after the incident I have never been back !!
