[#0000FF]Just when we might have thought our legislators might have some common sense, they done went and forwarded House Bill 272...the Utah Lake Restoration Act.
In this morning's Salt Lake Tribune Opinion article (see link above), saner heads point out some of the concerns held by most reasonable Utah folks...and those who just happen to know a little bit about either/or Utah Lake or economics.
Anybody know a drug dealer with some good reality check pills?

[#0000FF]Methinks the folks within the newly formed Delaware corporation began sprinkling pixie dust (money) long before they went public with their grandiose scheme.
Wondering if they mayhaps derived some of their money from selling Colorado "alfalfa"...or their ideas from smoking it.

All I can say is wow. I can almost see the crystal clear blue waters and the new housing developments with fantastic recreational opportunities already. Luckily I am old enough that I will be dead before these yo yos get to far in their plan.

Expecting common sense from the legislature may be a bit much to ask.....
Look on the bright side. There is no way this project will get very far with regards to Federal approval, due to the much despised (in these parts) June sucker and ESA regulations.

We shouldn't need the ESA to tell us that this island idea is the dumbest thing ever! The ESA is a close second though.

[#0000FF]Guess you saw the old movie "Bambi" too. The quote was "If you can't say something good, don't say anything at all."
You definitely said 'nuff.
How you doin', old buddy? Gonna do any fishing this year?

What a boondoggle !! The dude who thought this up did not listen very well during his classes in religion and science. He also did not spend any time on the lake during his year(s) at BYU. Oh well, we'll all be dead and gone before this one gets off the ground, who knows, maybe we'll get planted in the cemetery that will go along with the development !!!
