River accident kills one

[shocked][#804000][size 2]Although it is being done all the time, cannot believe that people will still put their cars and or life in jeopardy by driving onto the ice. What for?? Years ago when I lived in the NE our lakes would freeze over pretty damn quick in tempertures that went below 0 for many nights in a row. We would build a fire in a 50 gal drum [raised off of the ice] and fish through the ice near the drum. Never but never did I ever see anyone drive onto the ice. [/size][/#804000]
