Bovineowner, Sir, thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing that story. My uncle was a Pharmacist Mate on a hospital ship in the Pacific during WWII (don't know exactly where) and my Father was a Merchant Seaman on coasters up and down the U.S. West Coast. My family on both sides have served from WWI to Desert Storm. I get that same emotional feeling when I see our Flag flying, and the same disgust when I see young (and some older) Americans burning and desecrating it. It greatly lifts my spirits to know there are still true patriots in this country. Again, thank you for sharing that story, and if you also served, thank you for YOUR service.
