I can't for 100% say for certain how far it was taken but I do know in two cases the DRW has acted on info obtain from members posting on this site. One guy was charged and for sure had to pay a fine but it was a hunting related crime. The other, I believe was related to having a fish pond or tank with an illegal fish in it. As far as giving a fish to a kid goes, It is hard to imagine them prosecuting for some thing like that but they could.
