Can I store plastic baits together.

Thanks wiperhunter2,

I purchased a Flambeau Tuff 'Tainer for my main worm box. Your post reminded me to check that the worms weren't eating into the box. So far, a few days, so good.

You also reminded me that back in the 60s I had seen hard baits melt with plastic worms. Also at that time, none of the tackle boxes were worm proof. Luckily, I haven't put any hard baits in the worm box. I'll have to remember not to. I think I'll post a question about hard baits and worms.

As far as I know, these days the vast majority of boxes that are intended for fishing tackle are worm proof.

**When I was looking at Z-Man plastic bait website, they made a point of saying that their new, very soft but very durable plastic baits were not compatible with other plastic baits. They melt together. Their plastic will also melt today's tackle boxes. They recommend keeping Z-Man in the original bag, or separate baggies. They did say that Flambeau makes a box that their worms won't melt, but I'm not sure if they said which box.
