Little Payette is almost impossible to fish effectively from the bank. I used to fish this lake quite frequently in 80's and early 90's.
The lake is fairly basic. When standing on the dock facing the water, the left shore is weed beds and old tree stumps sticking out of the water. That is where you will find the big bass, and the occasional Tiger Muskie. About a 1/2 a mile or so on left is the inlet (Lake Fork creek). Again, lots of weed beds and old trees sticking out of the water. Back in the day this was premier float tubing water for trout but just not sure there any trout in there anymore. Still left and the rest of the way is more old stumps and grassy beds.
When standing on the dock looking out at the water, everything straight out and to the right is the deeper pool section of lake. In fact, straight out and slight to the right on across the other side is the dam (or really it is a dyke)
The pool portion of the lake is where your kokes will be.
It's been 20 years since I have been on that lake yet one of my favorite places because of the times we had there in the 80s and the early 9os.
