The coming disaster at Utah Lake !!

Actually, they have figured the population will double in the next 30 to 50 years and if you think we have problems now, just wait. This is just the tip of the ice burg that awaits us in the coming years. Its just a shame the state officials just put their heads in the sand and put things like this off until some future date when disaster strikes. Well I guess they can't put this one off any longer. There was a propose plan a year or two back where they divert water from the Bear river, up by Brigham, down a pipe, to SLC and Provo. They proposed building a couple more small dams that would aid in this effort but the State legislators in all their wisdom, never approved it. It would not surprise me if this is brought up again, as a way to help provide water down to Utah lake and the surrounding area but I guess we will see.
