I live 5 minutes from the mouth of AF canyon but I never go there anymore because it is always a madhouse. I used to fish there when i was in high school and could have the whole lake almost to myself, but now it's akin to fishing in the parking lot at Walmart. No thanks....
Regardless of who is using the place, it is
to see so much crowding, littering, and just general overuse of a once pristine location. Sadly that is pretty much going to be the overall state of affairs for Utah in general in the next 20 years with the booming growth. I have 8 years until my youngest graduates high school and then Im thinking its going to be Utah in the rear view.
